2016 CAFE Regina Gala
Locally, CAFE Regina is hosting its Annual Gala on February 25, 2105 and the featured guest speaker is Dana Hayes of Star Egg, from Saskatoon.
Established in the 1930’s with 2,000 laying hens, chicken farmer Walter Harman turned his hobby into a full time job. In 1965, his son Bert joined him and created Harman Poultry Farm Ltd. After a number of expansions, Bert saw an opportunity to expand into the wholesale industry marketing table eggs, and purchased Star Egg Co. Ltd. in 1978. Today, with Bert’s children Shawn and Dana, Star Egg grades over one million eggs per day and they are distributed throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northern BC, and the Northern West Territories.
To obtain tickets or discuss sponsorship opportunities for this event, please contact Petra Coutts, Managing Director, at [email protected] or phone 306-529-2638.
